Pet Radiology

Radiology is a non-invasive procedure and diagnostic tool that allows us to examine the body.

Pet Radiology

With advancements in digital X-ray technology, we may now modify digital pictures obtained from a pet’s systems to determine what is wrong. This has enabled us to discover previously undetectable problems such as hairline fractures and orthopedic disorders.

A pet’s bones, gastrointestinal tract (stomach, intestines, colon), respiratory tract (lungs), heart, and genitourinary system (bladder, prostate) are all frequently examined using radiology (x-rays). It may be used alone or in conjunction with other diagnostic tools to provide a list of potential explanations for a pet’s condition, pinpoint the actual source of an issue, or rule out potential concerns.
